How to operate Mouse with Keyboard



Think of a situation in which
mouse of your computer isn’t
working and you don’t want to or
simply can’t shutdown your PC.
What will you do in this situation ?
May be you can control mouse of
your computer without actually
using mouse, wait… Is that
possible ?
In this article I will teach you a
computer trick. By using this
computer trick you can easily
control mouse pointer of your
computer system by using your
keyboard.

In Windows, there is an inbuilt
feature which allows you control
mouse point of your compute
system through keyboard.
This trick can be helpful in extreme
condition when mouse is not
working, when we actually need it.
Or this trick can be used to amaze
your friends and family members.
To learn the trick to control mouse
from keyboard, follow the given
steps:
For Windows XP:
1. Goto ‘Control Panel’, make sure
that you have enabled ‘Classic
view’.
2. Open ‘accessibility options’.
3. From ‘accessibility option’
window, navigate to ‘Mouse’ tab.
4. Tick the option ‘Use mouse
keys’/
5. Click on ‘Apply’ and then click
on ‘OK’.
For Windows 7:
1. Goto ‘Control Panel’ and make
sure ‘Large icons’ is enabled.
2. Open ‘Ease of Access’.
3. From ‘Ease of Access’ window,
navigate ‘Ease of Access Center’
and then ‘Make the mouse easier
to use’.
4. Check ‘Turn on Mouse Keys’.
5. Save the settings.
That’s it!
Now you can control the mouse
pointer of your computer from the
‘Numpad’ of keyboard while
‘Numpad’ is ON or you can
customize your own by selecting
‘Setting’ from ‘Mouse’ tab.
Here is the default action which
happens when using keys of
Numpad:
If you will press 4 mouse pointer
will move Left
If you will press 6 mouse pointer
will move Right
If you will press 8 mouse pointer
will move Up
If you will press 2 mouse pointer
will move Down
To make a left click press 5 on
Numpad
To make a Right Click press + on
Numpad
